Bonjour PDF1455

You should say La musique country. In this case the adjective is place after the noun when describing the word music.

La musique rock, la musique électronique etc.....

This grammar point can be quite tricky as some adjectives can be placed before or after the noun or before and after the noun
 (I told you it was tricky). In general when adjective qualify a specialized domain or have a literal definition, it is most of the time placed after the noun.

Yes French is a SVO language. Good catch !

bonjour Teacherangele!

Merci ... :D

but I have a question regarding the masculine and feminine words in french.

For instance, if I am a man and talking to a woman, should I use masculine words?

or

use feminine words since I am talking to a woman ?

I know its stupid but I'm really confused since I started learning french.

Excellent question !

Well it depends what you are saying!

If you are talking about yourself, being a man, use the masculine form as you would when talking about any other man or masculine things.
Example:
John: Je suis marié. I'm married.
Henry: Ce manteau est beau. This coat is beautiful.
Jeff: Il est content. He is happy.
Here the adjectives marié / beau and content are at the masculine form

If you are talking about a woman or feminine things, use the feminine form.
Amy: Je suis mariée. I am married.
Mary: Cette robe est belle. This dress is beautiful.
Karen: Elle est contente. She is happy.
Here the adjectives mariée / belle and contente are at the feminine form.

Have a wonderful time learning French!
