| Jeremy: You can say avoir du bol, literally, "to have a bowl." |

| Jeremy: It’s formed by De + possessive pronoun (plural only) + rêves. For example... C’est la maison de vos rêves ! |

| Gabriella: “without a doubt”... |
| Jeremy: “probablement”... |
| Gabriella: “Probably”. There are many others too. |
| Jeremy: Oui, such as sûrement, meaning “most likely”. |
| Gabriella: D’accord, mais certains n’expriment pas l’hypothèse… “sans doute” |
| Jeremy: The meaning of this one is closer to “probably”. For example... Elle doit sans doute être déjà rentré chez elle. |
| Gabriella: "She’s probably already home." |
| Jeremy: This means that the speaker is almost totally sure she’s home, but without any evidence. |
| Gabriella: Ok, je m’en souviendrai! |
| Jeremy: These words are directly followed by the verb. |
| Gabriella: Let’s hear some examples. Imagine you are attending a party and you would like to call a friend but it’s late, so she might be sleeping already. |
| Jeremy: You can ask - Tu crois qu’elle dort déjà ? And your friend could answer - Probablement |
| Gabriella: “Do you think she’s already asleep?” - “Probably.” |
| Jeremy: Peut-être que tu as trouvé des places pour ce défilé de mode dont tu m’as beaucoup parlé ? |
| Gabriella: "Maybe you’ve managed to get tickets for the fashion show you told me a lot about?" |
| Jeremy: Another one - Je vais sûrement faire des travaux de rénovation dans la maison. |
| Gabriella: "I’ll very probably do some renovation work in my house." |
| Jeremy: You can express any probability with these four words, and as we saw, it’s not necessary in a sentence! |
| Gabriella: En effet, si on pose une question, on peut répondre “Peut-être” |
| Jeremy: “Maybe” or “might be”, since French does not make a difference between these expressions. |
| Gabriella: Ok, j’ai bien compris! |
| Jeremy: Il suffit de s’entraîner un peu! |
