INTRODUCTION
How many times have you been in one of your trips with your camera trying to immortalize particular moments. In France, it can happen so often that not only a landscape can arouse your curiosity, but also many people!

Lesson focus

So I know you don’t want to renounce to your marvelous album in France, that’s why today we will cover some phrases related to the one we saw in the previous lesson: “Can you take my picture?” Vous pouvez me prendre en photo ?
If you are able to socialize immediately and you feel French people can all be like friends, or even if you simply meet some young people, you can use “Can I take a picture with you?” And this will be in French, Je peux prendre une photo avec vous ?
Je peux prendre une photo avec vous ?
Let’s break it down: Je peux prendre une photo avec vous ?
In this sentence, we have Je peux, “can I”; followed by prendre, which is the infinitive form of the verb “to take.”
Then we have une photo, which we know by now, means “a photo.”
Finally, we have avec vous, which means “with you.”
Altogether, we have: Je peux prendre une photo avec vous ?
Je peux prendre une photo avec vous ?
Now, what if you are in a museum or an art gallery, or in a shop and you want to try to ask: “Can I take a picture here?”
In French, this would be Je peux prendre une photo ici ?
Je peux prendre une photo ici ?
Again, we have Je peux, “can I”; followed by prendre, “to take.”
And it is by une photo, “a picture,” “a photo,” which now you know very well, right?
And finally, you have the little word, ici, which is “here.”
So altogether, we have: Je peux prendre une photo ici ?
A little slowly: Je peux prendre une photo ici ?
Je peux prendre une photo ici ?
Alright, we’re all done for today.

Outro

Okay, to close out this lesson, we'd like you to practice what you've just learned. I'll provide you with the English equivalent of the phrase and you're responsible for shouting it aloud. You have a few seconds before I give you the answer, so bonne chance, that means “good luck” in French.
